A Free Internet Marketing Model

The following is an internet marketing model for free techniques, such as article marketing and search engine optimization. If you’ve read some of my other articles, you’ll know that I am quite strongly against internet marketing models, because I believe that it is different for everyone. I know a lady who makes most of her online income from Squidoo, and totally free techniques. I know some others that are all for building up just a couple of campaigns really well, and others that prefer to focus around making a number of different campaigns. Regardless, an internet marketing model is something that you should be coming up with.

Anyway, let us get into a template that I quite like to use, and many other affiliate marketers look to this technique as well for some guidance.

If you are going to be promoting affiliate products then you are going to need a website. People perhaps don’t say that you don’t – I do. Come on, it’s all of about ten dollars a month. If you can’t even afford that, then please go and make some money before trying something like this.

You can install WordPress on the website in order to create a beautiful site. It’s not hard, and even though it gets a little technical, it should be fairly easy. Can I just point something out here. You may have noticed that the tone of this article is a little brisk. This doesn’t mean that I’m not here to help you, but that I might be a little more blunt then normal. Please do not waste your time if you don’t have a general idea of computers and the internet. This does not mean that you need to be a geek like me, but at least know how to operate a website, and navigate reasonably easily. I often get messages from people who ‘don’t even know how to turn on a computer’, and I just think ‘well!’ Get a little experience first, please.

Next, it’s time to write the content. Keep it simple, and while it’s beyond the scope of this article, keep the content exciting, marketing-style and get your affiliate links in there.

Now, it’s time to write some articles! Your articles should be between three hundred and and six hundred words, and based around the topic that you are promoting to. So if you are promoting to bridesmaids wanting to lose some weight before the big day, make sure the article is about that. Include the link to your website in the resource box, and submit to some article directories.

And then rinse and repeat many more times. The sheer volume internet marketing model will work.

So there we are. Not the greatest internet marketing model in the world, but it works. This is the backbone of my campaigns, and of countless others. So, stop looking for the greatest internet marketing model that you can buy, and start marketing yourself. You’ll be surprised at what you can achieve.

Internet Marketing Strategy – Gaining Maximum Exposure – Part 1

Imagine your car breaking down every 5 minutes, your refrigerator being colder than the freezer, or a new disease incorrectly identified. These are all effects of insufficient research. Without the right amount of research, everything in life would be in complete disarray. Likewise, your network marketing business requires research in order to control how much your business grows. The kind of research network marketers use is called keyword research.

There are some people who just work hard. They make videos every day, write articles every day and interact with their social networks every day. Then there are some people who work smart. They do the research on keywords that will allow them to gain maximum exposure on the internet. These smart marketers may not make as many videos or write as many articles, yet they are able to generate more leads than the other group of marketers.

What does keyword research have to do with marketing? When you target words or phrases people are searching for, you are able to appear in search results and have more traffic going to your site. For example, if the phrase “protein bars with a cinnamon twist” was a popular search, you would want to implement it into your article or video description. The more popular the keyword is, the higher chance of you getting traffic to your site.

How do you find these keywords? There are a lot of tools out there to help you find keywords people are searching for; a lot of them are free. I personally use Google AdWords to find mine, but sometimes I supplement it with a few others. First, type in a broad keyword and search for it. Google will give you all the keywords it has that are related to your keyword. From there you can analyze how many searches are occurring on a monthly basis. Typically, the smaller number of searches translates into less competition. What you’re trying to find is a fairly high number of searches with the least amount of competition. That way you get the most traffic.

The next step to conducting your research is to see how much competition you have. Type the keyword you’re researching in Google’s search bar and make sure you put it in quotes. Look to the right and see how many search results come up from that keyword. If there are too many results, you might want to shy away from that keyword unless you’re willing to work up the rankings. Next, look at the Pay-Per-Click Ads to the right. If there are several advertisements there, it means people are willing to pay for that specific keyword and that’s a good sign.

Once you have your list of keywords, you need to implement them into your video or article. You don’t want to spam your keyword everywhere, because it may actually hurt your search engine rankings. More importantly, people stopping by to see your content as less professional and less valuable.

Don’t just work hard, work smart as well. One of the most effective tools of leveraging the internet for your network marketing business is doing keyword research. Stay tuned for part two of maximum exposure.

7 Tips For Knowing What Online Marketing Tasks To Outsource And When

Too many small business owners wait until they’re overwhelmed to start outsourcing, either because they feel they’re the only one who can do the job right, or because they fear it’s simply out of their budget.

The truth is that there are many tasks you’ll come across in your web-based business that do not fall within your area of expertise. The right virtual assistant will get you set up, going and be on to the next task in the time it will take you to read the FAQ’s! Think of them as your virtual help-desk for developing, implementing and marketing your internet presence

1. Take a look at your current time spent on certain social media marketing related tasks? Do you find yourself losing hours on Facebook a day? While you may enjoy it, this could be a great first step to outsourcing, as you’ll immediately be more productive.

2. What parts of your online marketing strategy do you dislike? If there are things you know you should be doing, like looking at your analytics, but find you’re always putting them off, outsource them. You’re feeling guilt over a task you don’t like, instead of feeling positive about all the tasks in your business you do enjoy. This can immediately affect your perceived happiness/stress levels.

3. Or, if you find that you really enjoy social marketing, and aren’t getting your business must-do’s done (like bookkeeping, billing, scheduling, etc.) find a VA that can assist with those annoying tasks so you’re free to do the tasks you enjoy.

4. Find a VA by referral – the beauty of social networking is that it allows you easy access to all sorts of people that may be using similar tools as you. You can go to them for recommendations on programs, services and people. And this gives you more peace of mind as you start outsourcing projects.

5. If you’re so overwhelmed that you don’t even know where to start with outsourcing, find one tasks that stands alone (something like getting out your newsletter). You can send over your template, article, and site logins and know the task will get finished. That alone can help you see the forest for the trees and start to delegate more.

6. Know that sometimes you just have to stop and take the time to delegate, even if you feel too busy. It’s better for your peace of mind now, and you’ll never get to it later. So just do it!

7. Finally, remember that having a more objective perspective on your business can do wonders as well. A VA with good business sense can help streamline systems, suggest areas for improvement, strategize your marketing and generally provide you balance when things get crazy.

Creating An Effective Marketing Plan For Your New Business

A lot has been written about market planning and strategizing, and to put it fairly, there is so much out there that it can be mighty confusing for entrepreneurs to zero in on a plan that would suit their business to the T.

From Philip Walton and Sam Knight to the marketing guru Philip Kotler, the world has seen a bunch of marketing behemoths share their genius and wisdom, but it all boils down to the common thread running through their plans, strategies and ideas for better marketing.

It isn’t that hard really, as long as you know that of all the trillion marketing theses and write-ups that are out there, the following are the commandments for developing a good market planning:

- The 5 “W’s” and 1 ‘H’: Ask yourself those essential questions – what, where, when, why, who, and how.

i. Who forms my core target group/ audience?

ii. What is my product function and USP?

iii. When is the best time for me to roll out my product? Does time play an imperative role here?

iv. Where can I get the best deals for procuring bulk raw materials?

v. Why would my finished offering sell better than the others out there?

vi. How much should I invest in direct marketing?

Bombard yourself with questions, because that is the way to getting your plan push off and become a bible to help you obtain your desired result. Like the old Chinese proverb says: “One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; but the one who does not ask a question remains a fool forever.”

- Do your research: Perhaps the most crucial step in making a marketing plan, market research is an in depth process that consists of identifying a market opportunity/ problem, developing an approach to the opportunity/ problem, research & design formulation (i.e., creating a blueprint for conducting further research), fieldwork and data collection, data preparation/ analysis and finally, report preparation and presentation.

Your research should be carried out to help you generate your future marketing actions and monitor your performance in accordance with current market trends.

- Post research market and sales strategy: Your research should now give you an avenue to pinpoint those facets of your small business offerings that are most likely to generate consumer interest. Look to build upon the advantages you seem to be having over your competitors and chart out a crystal clear definition of what your product could do to satisfy consumer wants; no one will want to buy your product if there are a gazillion others giving them the same thing.

Once you are done with this, concentrate on your sales strategy which should include the 4 P’s of marketing- pricing, promotion, placement and last but not least, the product itself.

- Keep revising your plan: Do this by making the most of your imagination, effort and time and adding inputs wherever you can. Outline your plan by elaborating on the questions in point 1, and ask yourself if there is any more research work you still need to do.

Prioritize your marketing goals and make a ‘to do list’ if you feel there is a lot more that can be done. Be alert and gauge the economic environment around you; would it be feasible to spend as much on print advertising or should you tighten up the budget a bit and tap the internet instead? Having a Internet marketing strategy gives you a measurable and definitive way to target your market and position your business so that those looking for what you have to offer are finding you easily. This is only the first level of the sales process, but it is vital to the success of your online business, but remember traffic marketing is not sales.

Traffic can be increased by search engine optimization, using pay per clicks, or marketing your site in advertising campaigns. After completing the marketing step which brings the traffic you must then turn your attention to selling to your visitor once they get there.
